Instructions:

Preheat the Air Fryer:

 Prepare the Butternut Squash:

  1. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Peel the skin off each half, leaving the orange flesh exposed.
  3. Cut each half into 1-inch thick slices or wedges.

 Season the Squash:

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat each butternut squash slice with the seasoned olive oil mixture.

 Air Fry:

  1. Place the seasoned butternut squash slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  2. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.

Optional Glaze:

  1. If desired, drizzle the cooked butternut squash with a bit of maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.

Serve:

  1. Once the butternut squash is golden and tender, remove it from the air fryer.
  2. Serve hot as a delicious side dish or snack.
