- 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:
Prepare Beef Steak:
- Season Steaks:
- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
- Sear Steaks:

- Add Liquids:
- Gradually add beef broth and red wine (if using), stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Allow the mixture to simmer and thicken.
- Season and Finish:
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.
- Sauté Mushrooms and Onions:
- Serve:
