Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Creamy Base
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides as needed.
Step 2: Fold in Whipped Topping
Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. The mixture should be creamy and light.
Step 3: Add the Fruit
Fold in the pineapple, strawberries, grapes, banana, cherries, and mini marshmallows (if using). Mix gently so you don’t crush the fruit.
Step 4: Transfer and Freeze
Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover tightly with foil or plastic wrap.
Place in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours or until firm. Overnight is ideal.
Step 5: Serve
Remove from freezer 10–15 minutes before serving to allow it to soften slightly. Cut into squares or scoop into bowls. Garnish with extra fruit, coconut, or nuts if desired.
Storage
-
Freezer: Store tightly covered for up to 1 month.
-
Do not refrigerate after freezing — the texture will become too soft.
Tips for Success
-
Drain canned fruits well to avoid icy texture or separation.
-
Use ripe bananas to add natural sweetness.
-
Don’t overmix after adding fruit to keep it visually appealing and juicy.
-
Serve chilled directly from the freezer or just lightly softened.
