Air Fryer Burgers Recipe

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 27 minutes
Serving Size: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, etc.)
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Season the Ground Beef:
    • In a mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Be careful not to overmix to keep the burgers tender.
  3. Form Burger Patties:
    • Divide the seasoned ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, making them slightly larger than your burger buns as they will shrink during cooking.
  4. Place Patties in Air Fryer:
    • Place the burger patties in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Cook the burgers in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 6 minutes.
  6. Flip Burgers:
    • Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 6 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust the time based on your preferred level of doneness.
  7. Optional Cheese:
    • If you’re adding cheese, place a slice on each burger during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.
  8. Toast Buns:
    • Meanwhile, you can lightly toast the burger buns in the air fryer for about 1-2 minutes.
  9. Assemble Burgers:
    • Remove the burger patties from the air fryer. Assemble your burgers by placing the patties on the buns and adding your favorite toppings and condiments.
  10. Serve:
    • Serve the air fryer burgers immediately while they’re hot and juicy.
