air fryer chicken tenders

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 12 minutes

Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned or plain)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set Up Breading Station:
    • In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat Chicken Tenders:
    • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off excess. Dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange in Air Fryer:
    • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded chicken tenders in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping the tenders halfway through the cooking time. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
    • Serve these crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders with your favorite dipping sauce.

Note:

Feel free to customize the seasoning or add herbs to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor. Adjust the cooking time based on the size and thickness of your chicken tenders. These air-fried chicken tenders are a healthier alternative to traditional frying, providing a crispy exterior and juicy interior.
