Air Fryer Fish Fingers

Air Fryer Fish Fingers

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia), cut into finger-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Breading Station:
    • In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. In a third bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Coat Fish Fingers:
    • Dip each fish finger into the flour, shaking off excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Arrange in Air Fryer Basket:
    • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the breaded fish fingers in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping the fish fingers halfway through the cooking time. Cook until they are golden brown and the fish is cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the fish fingers from the air fryer.
  7. Enjoy!
    • Serve these crispy Air Fryer Fish Fingers with your favorite dipping sauce.

Note:

Feel free to customize the seasoning in the breadcrumb mixture based on your preferences. Lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice can enhance the flavor of the fish fingers. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your fish fillets and your air fryer model.
