Ingredients:

For the Steak:

  • 1 pound (about 450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Potatoes:

  • 3 cups baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Preparing the Potatoes:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss Potatoes: In a bowl, toss halved baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Air Fry Potatoes: Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.

Preparing the Steak:

  1. Marinate Steak: In a separate bowl, combine bite-sized steak pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Air Fry Steak: After the potatoes have cooked for about 10 minutes, add the marinated steak to the air fryer basket. Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness, shaking the basket occasionally for even cooking.

Making Garlic Butter Sauce:

  1. Prepare Garlic Butter: While the steak and potatoes are cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in chopped fresh parsley and salt to taste.
  2. Combine with Steak and Potatoes: Once the steak and potatoes are done, drizzle the garlic butter sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Serving:

  1. Plate and Garnish: Transfer the garlic butter steak and potatoes to a serving platter. Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
  2. Serve Hot: Serve the air fryer garlic butter steak and potatoes skillet hot and enjoy!
