Air Fryer Ribeye Steaks

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
Servings: 2

Intensity: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks, about 1-inch thick
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or steak seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes.
  2. Season Steaks:
    • Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper. Optionally, you can rub a small amount of olive oil or sprinkle steak seasoning over the steaks for added flavor.
  3. Prepare Air Fryer Basket:
    • Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook Steaks:
    • Place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each steak for air circulation.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Air fry the steaks at 200°C (400°F) for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare doneness or 8-10 minutes for medium doneness, flipping halfway through cooking. Adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness and the thickness of the steaks.
  6. Rest and Serve:
    • Once cooked to your liking, remove the ribeye steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a juicier steak.
  7. Serve:
    • Serve the air fryer ribeye steaks hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Enjoy these tender and flavorful ribeye steaks cooked to perfection in the air fryer!

Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the steaks and the specific model of your air fryer. Always use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the steaks reaches your desired level of doneness: 50-55°C (120-130°F) for rare, 55-60°C (130-140°F) for medium-rare, 60-65°C (140-150°F) for medium, 65-70°C (150-160°F) for medium-well, and 70°C (160°F) and above for well-done. Adjust the seasoning and cooking time according to your taste preferences.
