AIR FRYER FRIED CHICKEN

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Servings: 4

Intensity: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 8 pieces of chicken (bone-in, skin-on preferred)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare Chicken:
    • Rinse the chicken pieces under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Season Flour:
    • In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  4. Coat Chicken:
    • Dredge each chicken piece in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides. Shake off any excess flour.
  5. Arrange in Air Fryer:
    • Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece for air circulation.
  6. Air Fry:
    • Air fry the chicken at 200°C (400°F) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach at least 75°C (165°F) for poultry.
  7. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Serve the 2-ingredient air fryer fried chicken hot as a delicious and easy-to-make meal.

Note: You can adjust the seasoning of the flour mixture according to your taste preferences. Feel free to add additional spices like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or dried herbs for extra flavor.
