Air Fryer Sirloin Steak

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Marinating Time: 30 minutes (optional)
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 52 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 sirloin steaks (about 8 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preparing the Steaks:

  1. Marinate Steaks (Optional): In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture over the sirloin steaks. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator. If you’re short on time, you can skip the marinating step.

Air Frying:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Bring Steaks to Room Temperature: Before cooking, allow the marinated steaks to come to room temperature for more even cooking.
  3. Air Fry: Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching. Cook for 6 minutes on one side.
  4. Flip and Cook: Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 6 minutes for medium doneness. Adjust the cooking time based on your desired level of doneness.

Resting and Serving:

  1. Rest Steaks: Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a juicier steak.
  2. Slice and Serve: Slice the sirloin steaks against the grain into desired portions. Serve hot.
