Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of your favorite bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange Bacon:
    • Lay the bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Air Fry Bacon:
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, or until the bacon reaches your desired level of crispiness. Flip the bacon slices halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
  4. Drain Excess Fat:
    • Once cooked, place the bacon on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess fat.
  5. Toast Bread (Optional):
    • If you prefer, you can lightly toast the bread slices in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble Sandwiches:
    • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. If desired, spread Dijon mustard on the other side for an extra kick.
  7. Layer Ingredients:
    • Place lettuce leaves on two bread slices. Top with tomato slices and the air-fried bacon.
  8. Season:
    • Sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste over the bacon.
  9. Complete Sandwiches:
    • Top with the remaining bread slices to complete the sandwiches.
  10. Serve:
    • Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and serve immediately.
