Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Total Time: 25-30 minutes
Servings: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
- 6-8 slices bacon, cut in half
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic powder (optional)
- Toothpicks, soaked in water for 10 minutes (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Green Beans:
- Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim off the stems. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- Wrap with Bacon:
- Take a small bundle of green beans, about 6-8 beans, and wrap half a slice of bacon around the center. Secure the ends of the bacon with toothpicks if needed.
- Repeat with the remaining green beans and bacon slices.
- Season:
- Drizzle olive oil over the bacon-wrapped green beans and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired. Toss gently to coat.
- Preheat the Blackstone Griddle:
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 200°C).
- Cook on the Griddle:
- Carefully place the bacon-wrapped green beans on the preheated griddle in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and the green beans are tender, with a slight char.
- Serve:
- Once cooked, transfer the bacon-wrapped green beans to a serving platter.
- Remove the toothpicks before serving.
- Serve hot and enjoy as a delicious appetizer or side dish!
- Note:
- Soaking toothpicks in water helps prevent them from burning on the griddle.
- You can customize this recipe by adding your favorite seasonings or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
