Air Fryer Bacon and Eggs

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients:

For the Bacon:

  • 8 slices of bacon

For the Eggs:

  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.

2. Cook Bacon:

  • Place the bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the bacon reaches your desired crispiness. You may need to flip the bacon halfway through for even cooking.

3. Remove Bacon:

  • Once the bacon is crispy, use tongs to transfer it to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess grease.

4. Prepare Eggs:

  • While the bacon is cooking, crack the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and whisk until well combined.

5. Cook Eggs:

  • Grease the air fryer basket lightly. Pour the beaten eggs into the basket. Cook at 350°F (180°C) for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook until the eggs are scrambled and cooked to your liking.

6. Serve:

  • Plate the scrambled eggs alongside the crispy bacon. Garnish with chopped chives or parsley if desired.

Optional Tips:

  • Variation: Instead of scrambled eggs, you can also make sunny-side-up eggs or an omelette in the air fryer.
  • Toast on the Side: Toast a couple of slices of bread in the air fryer while the bacon and eggs are cooking for a complete breakfast.
  • Cheese Lover’s Twist: Sprinkle shredded cheese on the scrambled eggs during the last minute of cooking for cheesy eggs.
