 Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 lb (225g) ground beef

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (cut into quarters)

For the Dough:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
or use homemade pizza dough or crescent dough if preferred

For the Garlic Parmesan Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

 Instructions

 Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Cook the Cheeseburger Filling

In a skillet over medium heat:

  • Add ground beef and onions.

  • Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

  • Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 more minutes until well combined.

  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

 Step 3: Prepare the Dough

  • Open the biscuit dough and separate into 8 rounds.

  • Flatten each round with your hands or rolling pin into a 4-inch circle.

 Step 4: Assemble the Bombs

  • Place 1 tablespoon of meat mixture in the center of each dough circle.

  • Top with a piece of cheddar cheese.

  • Carefully gather the edges of the dough and pinch to seal, forming a ball.

  • Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5: Make Garlic Parmesan Topping

In a small bowl, combine:

  • Melted butter

  • Minced garlic

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Parsley

Pro Tip: You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.

 Step 6: Bake

  • Brush each dough ball with half of the garlic butter mixture.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

 Step 7: Final Touch

  • Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic Parmesan butter while hot.

Let cool slightly before serving.

 Storage & Reheating

  • Refrigerator: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

  • Freezer: Freeze fully baked bombs for up to 2 months.

  • Reheat: Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes or microwave for 30–60 seconds.
