Ingredients
Cupcakes
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 large eggs

Cream Cheese Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Honey Peach Frosting
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3-4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped peaches (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Make the Cupcake Batter:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and honey together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
- Make the Cream Cheese Filling:
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg together until smooth.
- Assemble the Cupcakes:
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cupcake batter into the bottom of each cupcake liner.
- Add about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese filling on top of the batter.
- Spoon the remaining cupcake batter over the cream cheese filling, filling each liner about 3/4 full.
- Bake the Cupcakes:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Make the Honey Peach Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the honey and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until the frosting reaches your desired consistency.
- Frost the Cupcakes:
- Once the cupcakes are completely cool, frost them with the honey peach frosting.
- Garnish with the finely chopped peaches.
