Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) baby carrots, washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Carrots:
    • In a bowl, toss the baby carrots with olive oil, garlic powder, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the carrots are well coated with the seasoning.
  3. Arrange in Air Fryer Basket:
    • Place the seasoned carrots in the air fryer basket, making sure they are in a single layer and not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches if your air fryer has limited space.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the carrots halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  5. Check for Doneness:
    • Test the carrots with a fork to check for doneness. They should be tender with a slight crispiness on the edges.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • If desired, garnish the air-fried carrots with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
  7. Serve:
    • Serve the air-fried carrots as a delicious and healthy side dish alongside your favorite main course.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Enjoy these perfectly seasoned and air-fried carrots that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!

Note: Experiment with different herbs and spices to suit your taste preferences. You can also drizzle the air-fried carrots with a bit of honey or balsamic glaze for a touch of sweetness.
