Air Fryer Chicken Tenders – No Breading

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes
Total Time: 22-25 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Chicken Tenders:
    • Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. Season Chicken:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Stir well to create a marinade.
  4. Marinate Chicken:
    • Add the chicken tenders to the bowl with the marinade. Toss until the chicken is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  5. Air Fry Chicken Tenders:
    • Place the marinated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them for air circulation. You may need to cook the tenders in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Cook Chicken:
    • Air fry the chicken tenders at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown on the outside. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (75°C).
  7. Check for Doneness:
    • Check the chicken tenders for doneness. If needed, cook for an additional few minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Serve:
    • Once done, transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the tenders and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
  9. Enjoy:
    • Serve the air-fried chicken tenders hot as a delicious and flavorful protein-packed meal or snack!

Note:

  • These no-breading chicken tenders are versatile and can be served with your favorite dipping sauces or alongside a salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
