Air Fryer Lasagna

Ingredients:
- 6 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Lasagna Noodles:
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then lay them flat on a clean surface.
- Prepare Filling:
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture:
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.
- Assemble Lasagna:
- On each lasagna noodle, spread a layer of the cheese mixture and a layer of the meat sauce.
- Roll up each noodle to form a lasagna roll.
- Air Fry Lasagna Rolls:
- Place the lasagna rolls in the air fryer basket, seam side down, ensuring they are not touching.
- Air fry for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Carefully remove the lasagna rolls from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
