air fryer sausage rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 pork sausages, casings removed
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for topping)
  • Ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pork sausage meat and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the puff pastry into 8 equal rectangles.
  4. Take a portion of the sausage mixture and shape it into a log. Place the sausage log along one edge of a puff pastry rectangle. Roll the pastry around the sausage, sealing the edge with a bit of beaten egg.
  5. Repeat with the remaining sausage meat and puff pastry rectangles.
  6. Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with beaten egg. Sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds over the top, if desired.
  7. Place the sausage rolls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each roll.
  8. Air fry the sausage rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Once cooked, remove the sausage rolls from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  10. Serve the sausage rolls warm with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.

Enjoy your delicious homemade air fryer sausage rolls! They make a great appetizer, snack, or party food.
