  • ⅓ cup (40g) all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

 For the Glaze:

  • ¾ cup (90g) powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or heavy cream

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

 Instructions

Step 1: Make the Dough

  1. Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk and 1 tsp sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  2. Mix Dough: In a large bowl (or stand mixer), combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough begins to form.
