Total Time: 45 minutes

Intensity: Moderate

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Cinnamon-sugar mixture (optional, for sprinkling)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
  • Fresh berries or fruit (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
  2. Prepare Crescent Roll Base:
    • Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, covering the entire bottom to form a crust. Press the seams together to seal.
  3. Prepare Cheesecake Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Layer Cheesecake Filling:
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust in the baking dish.
  5. Top with Second Crescent Roll Layer:
    • Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese layer, covering it completely. Again, press the seams together to seal.
  6. Drizzle with Melted Butter:
    • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top layer of crescent rolls. Sprinkle a cinnamon-sugar mixture on top if desired for added flavor.
  7. Bake:
    • Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheesecake filling is set.
  8. Cool and Serve:
    • Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired. Cut into squares and serve warm or chilled.
  9. Garnish (Optional):
    • Garnish the cheesecake crescent rolls casserole with fresh berries or fruit before serving for a delightful and colorful presentation.

Note: This cheesecake crescent rolls casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the creamy goodness of cheesecake with the flaky layers of crescent rolls. It’s perfect for gatherings, potlucks, or simply as a sweet treat for your family. Enjoy!
