Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas (8-inch size)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream (optional, for serving)
  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Blackstone Griddle:
    • Set the griddle to medium heat and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Assemble the Quesadillas:
    • Place two tortillas on a clean surface.
    • Evenly sprinkle 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or chocolate chunks over each tortilla.
    • Top each with another tortilla to form a quesadilla sandwich.
  3. Cook the Quesadillas:
    • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on the griddle.
    • Place the quesadillas on the griddle, making sure to leave enough space between them.
    • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the chocolate is melted. Add the remaining butter when flipping the quesadillas.
  4. Serve:
    • Remove the quesadillas from the griddle and let them cool for a minute.
    • Cut each quesadilla into wedges.
    • Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve with whipped cream and fresh berries for an extra treat.
