  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Optional Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or lemon juice

 Instructions

 Step 1: Make the Dough

  1. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  2. Mix in sugar, egg, and softened butter.

  3. Add flour and salt gradually and knead for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and slightly tacky.

  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.

 Step 2: Make Fillings

Cream Cheese:
Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Set aside.

Strawberry Filling:
In a small saucepan, cook chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat for 5–7 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with 1 tsp water, stir into the mixture, and cook another minute until thickened. Cool completely.
