Air Fryer Donuts

Ingredients:

For the Donuts:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Glaze (Optional):

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

 Preheat the Air Fryer:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).

Prepare the Biscuit Dough:

  1. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the individual biscuits.
  2. Use your thumb to create a hole in the center of each biscuit to form a donut shape.

 Air Fry the Donuts:

  1. Lightly brush each donut with melted butter on both sides.
  2. Place the donuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each.
  3. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 4 minutes, flip the donuts, and air fry for an additional 4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

 Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  2. While the donuts are still warm, dip each side into the cinnamon sugar mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.

Optional Glaze:

  1. If desired, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl to create a glaze.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cinnamon sugar-coated donuts.

Serve:

  1. Serve the Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts warm.
  2. Enjoy these delicious homemade treats with your favorite beverage!
