Air Fryer Egg Bites

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Intensity: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
  • 1/4 cup diced cooked ham, bacon, or cooked sausage (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk or heavy cream until well combined.
  2. Add the shredded cheese and diced cooked ham, bacon, or sausage (if using) to the egg mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until evenly distributed.
  3. Lightly spray the wells of your air fryer egg bite mold with cooking spray or olive oil spray.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly into the wells of the egg bite mold, filling them about 3/4 full. Leave a little room for the egg bites to expand during cooking.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C) for a few minutes.
  6. Once preheated, carefully place the filled egg bite mold into the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry the egg bites at 325°F (160°C) for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are puffed, set, and slightly golden on top.
  8. Carefully remove the egg bite mold from the air fryer using oven mitts or silicone grips.
  9. Let the egg bites cool for a few minutes before gently removing them from the mold. Use a spoon or silicone spatula to release the egg bites from the mold.
  10. Serve the air fryer egg bites hot as a delicious and protein-packed breakfast or snack.

Note: You can customize these air fryer egg bites by adding other ingredients such as diced vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, tomatoes), cooked mushrooms, or different types of cheese. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on your air fryer’s performance and the size of your egg bite mold. These egg bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days and reheated in the air fryer or microwave. Enjoy these fluffy and flavorful egg bites for a quick and satisfying meal!
