Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Blackstone Griddle:
    • Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. Cook Bacon:
    • Place the chopped bacon on the griddle and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease. Leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease on the griddle.
  3. Prepare Green Beans:
    • Rinse the green beans under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim off the ends if necessary.
  4. Sauté Garlic:
    • Add the minced garlic to the bacon grease on the griddle. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add Green Beans:
    • Add the green beans to the griddle with the garlic. Spread them out evenly to ensure even cooking.
  6. Griddle Green Beans:
    • Cook the green beans on the griddle, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until they are tender-crisp and slightly charred.
  7. Season:
    • Season the griddled green beans with salt and pepper to taste, tossing to coat evenly.
  8. Add Bacon:
    • Add the cooked bacon back to the griddle with the green beans. Toss to combine, allowing the flavors to meld for another 1-2 minutes.
  9. Finish and Serve:
    • Remove the griddled green beans with bacon from the griddle and transfer them to a serving platter.
    • Serve hot as a flavorful and hearty side dish.
    • Optionally, serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the green beans before eating.
  10. Enjoy:
    • Enjoy these delicious Blackstone griddled green beans with bacon as a tasty accompaniment to any meal!

Note: You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. Additionally, feel free to add other seasonings or spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
