Description:

Blackstone Burger Tacos combine the juicy, flavorful experience of a classic burger with the convenience and fun of a taco. Perfect for outdoor grilling, these burger tacos are made on a Blackstone griddle for an easy and delicious meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 mix recommended)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup burger sauce (or your favorite sauce)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for the griddle

Instructions:

Prep Work (5-10 minutes):

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the taco seasoning. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  2. Prepare the Toppings: Shred the lettuce, dice the tomato, finely chop the red onion, and slice the pickles. Set aside.

Cooking on the Blackstone Griddle (15-20 minutes):

  1. Preheat the Griddle: Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Cook the Beef: Place the seasoned ground beef on the griddle. Use a spatula to break it into small pieces as it cooks. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: While the beef is cooking, place the flour tortillas on the griddle to warm them up. Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are warm and slightly toasted. Remove and set aside.

Assemble the Tacos (5 minutes):

  1. Add the Beef: Spoon the cooked ground beef onto each warm tortilla.
  2. Add the Toppings: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef while it’s still hot to melt slightly. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, chopped red onion, and pickle slices.
  3. Add the Sauce: Drizzle your favorite burger sauce over the toppings.

Serve:

  1. Serve the burger tacos immediately, while they’re hot and fresh. They pair well with a side of fries or a simple salad.
