This Carnivore Cheeseburger Pie is a hearty, protein-packed dish perfect for those following a carnivore or low-carb diet. With juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and a creamy egg mixture, it’s like a crustless cheeseburger in pie form, satisfying your burger cravings without the carbs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

2. Cook the Ground Beef:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using). Set aside to cool slightly.

3. Cook the Bacon:

  • While the beef is cooking, cook the bacon until crispy. Crumble the bacon and set it aside.

4. Assemble the Pie:

  • Spread the cooked ground beef evenly in the greased pie dish. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the beef. Next, layer the shredded cheese over the bacon.

5. Prepare the Egg Mixture:

  • In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until smooth. Pour the egg mixture over the beef, bacon, and cheese layers.

6. Bake the Pie:

  • Place the pie dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the egg mixture is set.

7. Rest and Serve:

  • Allow the pie to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
