Ingredients
-
1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
-
3 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
-
1½ tsp kosher salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky twist)
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crispness)
-
Fresh parsley or lemon wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
Step 2: Prepare the Cauliflower
-
Wash and dry the cauliflower well — moisture is the enemy of crispiness.
-
Cut the cauliflower into florets (not too small or they may burn).
-
In a large bowl, toss the florets with:
-
Olive oil
-
Salt
-
Pepper
-
Garlic powder
-
Smoked paprika
-
-
Optional: Toss in Parmesan cheese for a salty, crispy coating.
Step 3: Roast to Perfection
-
Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet.
-
Make sure the florets aren’t crowded — they need space to crisp up!
-
Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
-
Roast until the edges are deep golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
-
Optional: Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, or more Parmesan right before serving.
-
Serve hot as a side, appetizer, or toss into your favorite dishes.
