  • Cook Time: 25–30 minutes

  • Total Time: 35–40 minutes

  • Difficulty: Very Easy

  • Servings: 4 as a side dish

 Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 3 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)

  • 1½ tsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky twist)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crispness)

  • Fresh parsley or lemon wedges for garnish (optional)

 Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Cauliflower

  1. Wash and dry the cauliflower well — moisture is the enemy of crispiness.

  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets (not too small or they may burn).

  3. In a large bowl, toss the florets with:

    • Olive oil

    • Salt

    • Pepper

    • Garlic powder

    • Smoked paprika

  4. Optional: Toss in Parmesan cheese for a salty, crispy coating.

Step 3: Roast to Perfection

  1. Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  2. Make sure the florets aren’t crowded — they need space to crisp up!

  3. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

  4. Roast until the edges are deep golden brown and crispy.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

  1. Optional: Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, or more Parmesan right before serving.

  2. Serve hot as a side, appetizer, or toss into your favorite dishes.

 Storage & Reheating

  • Freezing: Not recommended, as cauliflower can become mushy when thawed.
