AIR FRYER GRILLED HAM AND CHEESE

AIR FRYER GRILLED HAM AND CHEESE

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 8 minutes

Servings: 2

Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced ham
  • 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your preference)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Dijon mustard (optional, for spreading)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Assemble Sandwiches:
    • Lay out four slices of bread. On two of the slices, evenly layer the ham and cheese. If desired, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the other two slices.
  3. Form Sandwiches:
    • Place the mustard-coated slices over the ham and cheese slices to form two sandwiches.
  4. Butter the Bread:
    • Lightly spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich.
  5. Air Fry:
    • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the sandwiches in the basket.
  6. Air Fry:
    • Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 4 minutes. Flip the sandwiches and air fry for an additional 4 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Check for Crispiness:
    • If you desire extra crispiness, you can air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve:
    • Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before slicing.
  9. Enjoy!
    • Serve the Air Fryer Grilled Ham and Cheese hot, and enjoy the gooey, melty goodness.

Note:

Feel free to customize the sandwich with your favorite ingredients, such as adding sliced tomatoes, pickles, or different types of cheese. Adjust the cooking time based on your air fryer model and personal preferences for bread crispiness.
