Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 18 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  2. Prepare Shrimp:
    • In a bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  3. Air Fry Shrimp:
    • Place the seasoned shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  4. Cook Shrimp:
    • Air fry the shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. The shrimp should be pink and opaque when done.
  5. Check for Doneness:
    • Check one of the shrimp for doneness by cutting it open. It should be cooked through with no translucent parts.
  6. Serve:
    • Once done, transfer the cooked Old Bay shrimp to a serving plate. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp for extra flavor. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
  7. Enjoy:
    • Serve the air-fried Old Bay shrimp hot as a delicious appetizer or main dish. They also make a great addition to salads or pasta dishes.

Note:

  • Adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences. You can add more Old Bay seasoning for a stronger flavor or adjust the amount of garlic powder and paprika.
  • Serve the shrimp with cocktail sauce or a creamy dipping sauce for added taste.
