Ingredients:

  • 12 large jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Jalapeños:
    • Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Use a spoon or knife for this step. Wear gloves to protect your hands from the jalapeño oils.
  3. Prepare Filling:
    • In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  4. Fill Jalapeños:
    • Stuff each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap with Bacon:
    • Wrap each cream cheese-filled jalapeño half with a half-slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
  6. Arrange on Baking Sheet:
    • Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve:
    • Remove toothpicks before serving.
  9. Enjoy!
    • Serve these Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños as a delicious appetizer or party snack.

Note:

Adjust the number of jalapeños based on your preference for spice. You can also add a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of your favorite seasoning for extra flavor.
