Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Flour, for dusting
For the Toppings:
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat the Griddle:
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
- Prepare the Dough:
- Lightly dust a clean surface with flour.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness (about 1/4 inch thick is recommended).
- Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or a flat surface for easy transfer to the griddle.
- Cook the Dough:
- Lightly brush the griddle with olive oil.
- Carefully place the rolled-out dough onto the griddle.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and the dough starts to bubble.
- Flip the Dough:
- Using a spatula, carefully flip the dough to cook the other side.
- Brush the cooked side with a little olive oil.
- Add the Sauce and Toppings:
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Add the pepperoni slices, sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives.
- Finish Cooking:
- Close the lid of the Blackstone griddle (or use a large domed lid) to help melt the cheese.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bottom of the crust is crispy.
- Serve:
- Remove the pizza from the griddle.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Slice and serve hot.
