Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Flour, for dusting

For the Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Griddle:
    • Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • Lightly dust a clean surface with flour.
    • Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness (about 1/4 inch thick is recommended).
    • Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or a flat surface for easy transfer to the griddle.
  3. Cook the Dough:
    • Lightly brush the griddle with olive oil.
    • Carefully place the rolled-out dough onto the griddle.
    • Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and the dough starts to bubble.
  4. Flip the Dough:
    • Using a spatula, carefully flip the dough to cook the other side.
    • Brush the cooked side with a little olive oil.
  5. Add the Sauce and Toppings:
    • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce.
    • Add the pepperoni slices, sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives.
  6. Finish Cooking:
    • Close the lid of the Blackstone griddle (or use a large domed lid) to help melt the cheese.
    • Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bottom of the crust is crispy.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove the pizza from the griddle.
    • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
    • Slice and serve hot.
