Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Intensity: Moderate

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to simmer and thicken for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  7. Once the chicken is heated through and the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency, remove the skillet from heat.
  8. Garnish the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
