Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup beef gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup vanilla-flavored collagen powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sweetener of choice (optional, carnivore sweeteners like stevia or monk fruit)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Batter:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until light and frothy.
    • Add the softened cream cheese and melted butter, and mix until smooth.
    • Gradually add the beef gelatin powder and vanilla-flavored collagen powder, mixing until fully combined.
    • Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
    • If using a sweetener, add it to taste.
  3. Bake the Cake:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
    • Slice and serve plain or with a carnivore-friendly topping like whipped cream.
