- 8 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup beef gelatin powder
- 1/4 cup vanilla-flavored collagen powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Sweetener of choice (optional, carnivore sweeteners like stevia or monk fruit)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until light and frothy.
- Add the softened cream cheese and melted butter, and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the beef gelatin powder and vanilla-flavored collagen powder, mixing until fully combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- If using a sweetener, add it to taste.
- Bake the Cake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve plain or with a carnivore-friendly topping like whipped cream.
