Carnivore Pork and Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon beef gelatin powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs and spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika (for a bit of extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Bacon:
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy.
    • Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
  3. Cook the Ground Meat:
    • Add the ground beef and ground pork to the skillet with the bacon fat.
    • Cook over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks.
    • Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Prepare the Cream Sauce:
    • In a medium saucepan, heat the beef broth and heavy cream over medium heat.
    • Add the softened cream cheese and whisk until smooth.
    • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and beef gelatin powder, mixing until fully combined.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine and Bake:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked bacon, ground beef, and ground pork.
    • Pour the cream sauce over the meat mixture and stir until well combined.
    • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and slightly golden on top.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the casserole to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
    • Serve hot and enjoy!
