  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer Doritos:
    • Spread half of the Doritos on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter.
  3. Add Toppings:
    • Evenly distribute half of the ground beef or shredded chicken, refried beans (if using), and half of the cheeses over the Doritos.

    • Remove the nachos from the oven and immediately sprinkle with black olives, diced tomatoes, green onions, and pickled jalapeño slices.
  7. Garnish:
    • Add dollops of sour cream and guacamole on top. Serve with salsa on the side.

Tips

  • Meat Options: Substitute the ground beef or chicken with ground turkey, pulled pork, or any other protein of your choice.
  • Cheese: Feel free to use other types of cheese like pepper jack or queso fresco for a different flavor.
  • Vegetarian Option: Skip the meat and add more beans, corn, or grilled veggies for a vegetarian version.
  • Extra Crunch: For an extra crunch, add some fresh chopped lettuce just before serving.

Enjoy your Doritos nachos with family and friends!
