Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb frozen meatballs (pre-cooked)
  • 1 can (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Assemble the Casserole:

  1. In a large baking dish, combine frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, water, uncooked rotini pasta, shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Stir the ingredients until well combined.

Bake:

  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Uncover and Stir:

  1. Remove the foil and give the casserole a good stir.

Continue Baking:

  1. Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve:

  1. Remove the casserole from the oven.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  3. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
