Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:

  2. Prepare the Cod:

    • Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper.

    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, and dried parsley. Mix well.
  4. Assemble:
    • Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet or dish.

  5. Bake the Cod:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
