  • Pickle slices, for topping
  • Optional additional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, mustard, etc.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tater Tots:
    • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the tater tots package.
    • Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Season the tater tots with salt and black pepper to taste.
    • Bake the tater tots in the preheated oven until golden brown and crispy, following the package instructions.
  2. Cook the Burgers:
    • While the tater tots are baking, divide the ground beef into 8 equal-sized portions.
    • Shape each portion into mini burger patties, season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
    • Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the mini burger patties for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level (medium-well is recommended for safety).
    • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
