TENNESSEE ONIONS

- 4 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Onions:
- Thinly slice the sweet onions.
- Combine Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced onions, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the onions are evenly coated.
- Bake in Casserole Dish:
- Transfer the seasoned onions to a greased or lined casserole dish.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

- If using cheese, sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the top of the caramelized onions during the last 5-7 minutes of baking. Let it melt and develop a golden crust.
