Air Fryer Pavlova

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Servings: 8-10

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Ingredients:

  • 4 large egg whites, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh fruits (berries, kiwi, passion fruit) for topping
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 250°F (120°C). Ensure the air fryer basket is clean.
  2. Prepare Egg Whites:
    • In a large, clean, and dry bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually Add Sugar:
    • Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat the egg whites. Beat until glossy and stiff peaks form.
  4. Add Vinegar and Cornstarch:
    • Gently fold in the white vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Be careful not to deflate the egg whites.
  5. Form the Pavlova:
    • Spoon the pavlova mixture onto a parchment paper-lined air fryer basket, creating a well in the center for the toppings.
  6. Air Fry:
    • Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes or until the pavlova is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The pavlova should easily lift off the parchment paper.
  7. Cool:
    • Allow the pavlova to cool completely before transferring it to a serving plate.
  8. Whip the Cream:
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  9. Assemble:
    • Spoon the whipped cream into the well of the pavlova. Top with fresh fruits of your choice.
  10. Garnish:
    • Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  11. Serve:
    • Slice and serve your air fryer pavlova immediately.
  12. Enjoy Your Air Fryer Pavlova!
    • Delight in the crispy and sweet pavlova with a pillowy center, topped with luscious whipped cream and fresh fruits.

Note:

  • Be patient when adding sugar to the egg whites to achieve the desired glossy and stiff peaks.
  • Customize the toppings with your favorite fruits for a colorful and delicious presentation.
