- 4 oz (115g) egg noodles

- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Clean and slice the mushrooms.
- Sauté the Vegetables:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes, until it begins to soften.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Cook the Mushrooms:
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they release their moisture and begin to brown.
- Stir in the dried thyme and rosemary, cooking for another minute.

- Gradually pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Add the Cream and Milk:
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the Noodles:
- Add the egg noodles to the pot and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until the noodles are tender.
- Finish and Serve:
- Once the noodles are cooked, adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley if using.
