Garlic Butter Ribeye Steak And Shrimp

Preparation Time: 30 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 50 minutes Recipe Intensity: Intermediate

Ingredients:

  • 2 Ribeye steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Also, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat dry the ribeye steaks and shrimp using paper towels. Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Place the ribeye steaks on the preheated grill or grill pan. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, brush the garlic butter mixture over the steaks. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  5. While the steaks are resting, prepare the shrimp. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  7. Serve the garlic butter ribeye steaks alongside the grilled shrimp. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
