Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

  6. Transfer to Cake Pan:
    • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it out evenly.

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the savory ham and cheese cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
