Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
    • Lay out the slices of bread on a clean work surface.
  2. Assemble the Pizza Toast:
    • Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly on each slice of bread.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, covering the bread completely.
    • Add pepperoni slices on top of the cheese if desired.
    • Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning or dried oregano over each pizza toast for extra flavor.
  3. Air Fry the Pizza Toast:
    • Place the assembled pizza toasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
    • Lightly spray the tops of the pizza toasts with olive oil spray or cooking spray.
    • Air fry at 370°F (187°C) for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
  4. Serve:
    • Carefully remove the pizza toasts from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula.
    • Allow them to cool for a minute before serving.
    • Slice each pizza toast diagonally and serve hot.
