Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add melted butter, almond milk, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined, and a dough forms. Allow the dough to rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Form Buns:
    • Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the buns are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Prepare Garlic Butter Topping:
    • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  8. Top Buns:
    • Once the buns are out of the oven, brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of each bun.
  9. Serve:
